The vehicle management is about maintaining the stock of the vehicle in the distributor's location and his dealer's location. For maintaining the stock, the franchise details, i.e., the person who is manufacturing vehicles and vehicle identification details are maintained. This also contains the details of the vehicles which are given to customers for rentals during the service period of customer's vehicle. The demo vehicle is maintained here.
The parts management deals about maintaining the stock of the spare parts which is purchased from spare parts distributors. It has inter stock transfers to the dealers, has the stock reconciliation process to adjust the stock and facilitates spares parts to be sold directly to customers through POS.
In service, the service procedures followed for the vehicles are maintained. It contains work shop details where vehicles are serviced and the resource who is executing the service for the vehicle. Here the rentals of the vehicles are also covered. Service can be any of these: Casual, Warranty and Internal.
