Clone Computer In 2110

Just imagine you are seated at the dining table and opposite to you, your clone “a computer machine” is seated and having dinner along with you. Is that some thing amazing? Or could be the human civilization might become slave to smart computers controlling the world and economics.  Will this happen? Who knows and may be it can become a reality. Did you ever think that a hundred years ago our great grand parents might have ever dreamt of flying? No, never. Super computers, “deep blue” battled with Gary Kasparov desperately to beat in the chess game. The world saw it as a competition of mind and machine, but to me this was just the flash point of machine taking over man in the future. We have experienced tremendous transformation in science and technology, and the world has gone through a metamorphic change in the field of computing. Leonardo da vinchi to Isaac Newton to Albert Einstein to the most brilliant man on earth of 21st century Stephen Hawking, many of their scientific theories, hypothesis, postulations and imaginations have been conquered and barriers broken as time passed by.

As we have entered into the age of the extreme computing, the world of today is deriving tangible and intangible benefits by leveraging on bits and bytes. Computer of today and computer of tomorrow will be a complete contrast. The speed at which the continual evolution of next generation computing is evolving has shrunk the time dimension radically. Though the probability of our conscious and subconscious mind will not be able to create a pattern of cloning machines, but the way the technology is shifting, I am sure, our great grand children will see the reality when their clone will be a machine and taking decisions on behalf of them.

Imagine a computer machine in a fluid and semi transparent shape like a human being engaging your customer in Florida and at the same time another clone of yours addressing a Press conference in New Delhi and a third clone busy in acquiring a business worth billions of dollar in Beijing, and a fourth clone engaging another clone for a joint venture in Rio-de-Janeiro. Re-defining multi-tasking is what the future generation will witness when human and machine converge and process trillions of data and information in micro seconds. Our conscious and subconscious mind will communicate with the clone and vice versa. The subconscious mind processes 2 million bits of information every second and the major chunk of information is lost in the process because our conscious mind cannot manage the magnitude of information being processed by the subconscious mind.

You will have the power to create multiple clones and de-clone when you don’t want them and can re-create again. Each clone will carry your intelligence, your emotional quotient and will multiply with the processing speed a millionth time faster than the processing speed of Pentium 4.0 to arrive at a decision. We will be challenging the postulation of Albert Einstein that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. May be a 100 years from now we might break that postulation.

The most complex challenge would be how the human being will store tera bytes of information simultaneously generated by each clone? Or could it be the clones will store the information in their membrane? Or will it be that the human being will store the information in a centralized location like series of nano servers or nano centers compressed to a size of a pin head? Or will it be distributed across the solar system? Or probably the scientist of tomorrow might discover ways to store information in double-helix DNA or in proteins of human being. Already our brain is over burdened with information and it does multiple functions to create a balance between the eco-system and metabolism. Do you think our brain will be able to control such huge information emanating from your clone machines? We will explore different possibilities how the brain will function to create a fusion in my next blog. How do you view this imagination that our brain will function and coordinate and create a synthesis with clones?

Thanks,
Syed Arif
